Lion A. Vijaya Kumar PMJF, First Vice District Governor, 2026–27 | Lions District 317F, Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow | Visionary Leader | Philanthropist.

Born into a family of technocrats, Lion A. Vijaya Kumar PMJF has combined his technical acumen with a passion for service. A Civil Engineering graduate from Bangalore University, he is the founder and CEO of Adobe Builders Pvt. Ltd., established in 1994. Under his dynamic leadership, the company has delivered over 100 successful projects ranging from residential complexes and educational institutions to industrial infrastructures. He also contributes to the real estate sector as a partner at Prime Foundations.

Journey in Lionism

Lion Vijaya Kumar began his service journey in 2007 with the Lions Club of Maruthi Sevanagar. Since then, he has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication and leadership across various roles at the club, district, and multiple district levels.

Notable Contributions:

Facilitated the conversion of the Kapur Block basement at Kidwai Hospital into a fully functional paediatric ward.
Conducted over 1,37,000 Diabetic screenings and facilitated more than 1,00,000 Vision screenings.
Instrumental in raising 75 MJF/PMJF contributions as LCIF Coordinator.
Established 34 Diabetic Care Centres and 5 Vision Centres across District 317F.

Awards and Recognitions

His impactful service has been well recognized. His accolades include: Platinum Award for Club President, Outstanding Zone Chairperson, “Abhinandan” Award for Zone Chairperson, Outstanding Region Chairperson, Lion of the Year Award, International President's Medal (3 times), International President's Certificate of Appreciation (9 times), LCIF Chairperson Award (3 times), and LCIF Chairperson Certificates of Appreciation (4 times).

Leadership Development

He is a graduate of: Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI), Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) & Faculty Development Institute (FDI).

He has been unanimously elected as the First Vice District Governor for the Lionistic year 2026–27. He is actively engaged in community and spiritual development. He holds memberships in: HBC Club, RGBC, ECA, Life Member of ISKCON, and Director - Shirdi Sai Trust.

He is supported in all his endeavours by his Spouse, Lion Kamini V who is serving as FWS Coordinator. They are blessed with a son, Piyush V, who is married to Ms. Akshatha. He holds a Master's degree in Construction Management from Melbourne, Australia and currently manages the family business.

ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ಲಯನ್ ಎ. ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ PMJF ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಸೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಪದವೀಧರರಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು, 1994 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾದ ಅಡೋಬ್ ಬಿಲ್ಡರ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ (Adobe Builders Pvt. Ltd.) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಇಒ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ,攻 ಕಂಪನಿಯು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳವರೆಗೆ 100 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಪ್ರೈಮ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಾಗಿ ರಿಯಲ್ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಲಯನಿಸಂನಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ

ಲಯನ್ ವಿಜಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು 2007 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಫ್ ಮಾರುತಿ ಸೇವಾನಗರದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಾ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಕ್ಲಬ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಲ್ಟಿಪಲ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಮರ್ಪಣಾ ಭಾವ ಹಾಗೂ ಆದರ್ಶ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕಿದ್ವಾಯಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಕಪೂರ್ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಬೇಸ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಆಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
1,37,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಧುಮೇಹ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮತ್ತು 1,00,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
LCIF ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿ 75 MJF/PMJF ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ 317F ನಾದ್ಯಂತ 34 ಮಧುಮೇಹ ಆರೈಕೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 5 ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮನ್ನಣೆಗಳು

ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ

ಇವರು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ (RLLI), ಅಡ್ವಾನ್ಸ್ಡ್ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ (ALLI) ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಯಾಕಲ್ಟಿ ಡೆವಲಪ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ (FDI) ಗಳ ಪದವೀಧರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇವರನ್ನು 2026-27 ರ ಲಯನ್ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಉಪ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಗವರ್ನರ್ ಆಗಿ ಸರ್ವಾನುಮತದಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರು HBC ಕ್ಲಬ್, RGBC, ECA ಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ (ISKCON) ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿರಡಿ ಸಾಯಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಇವರ ಧರ್ಮಪತ್ನಿ, ಲಯನ್ ಕಾಮಿನಿ ವಿ (FWS ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ) ಅವರು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೆಂಬಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗೆ ಪಿಯೂಷ್ ವಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಗನಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಕ್ಷತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿವಾಹವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಿಯೂಷ್ ಅವರು ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾದ ಮೆಲ್ಬೋರ್ನ್‌ನಿಂದ ಕನ್ಸ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಷನ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
