His association with the Lions movement began as a young professional driven by a desire to contribute to society. Over the years, he has held numerous pivotal roles at the club, region, and district levels. Known for his strategic foresight, he was instrumental in establishing the "Lions Vision for All" initiative, which provided free eye care to thousands across rural Karnataka.

As a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow (PMJF), his contributions are recognized globally. He has been honored with the International President's Leadership Medal and has received the "Lion of the Decade" award within the district for his consistent efforts in member retention and youth development through the Leo Club Program.

Outside of his service life, Akash A. Suvarna is a successful entrepreneur in the logistics and technology sector. He believes that the discipline of engineering and the heart of a Lion can solve any community challenge. He is also a life member of several cultural organizations in Bangalore and is an avid supporter of environmental conservation projects.

His motto for the year 2026-27 is "Service with Integrity," focusing on strengthening the grassroots impact of individual clubs while embracing modern technology to streamline district operations. He resides in Bangalore with his wife, who is also a dedicated Lion, and their two children.

ಇವರ ಸೇವಾ ಪಯಣವು ಯುವ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿರುವ ಇವರು, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ "ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ವಿಷನ್ ಫಾರ್ ಆಲ್" ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರೊಗ್ರೆಸಿವ್ ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಜೋನ್ಸ್ ಫೆಲೋ (PMJF) ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ಇವರು, ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಯೋ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಯುವಜನತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯು ಹೊಸ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದೆ.

ವೃತ್ತಿಪರವಾಗಿ ಇವರು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಲಾಜಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಲಯನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸೇವಾ ಮನೋಭಾವದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದು ಇವರ ಅಚಲ ನಂಬಿಕೆ.

2026-27ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಇವರ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯ "ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ಸೇವೆ". ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಅನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವುದು ಇವರ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
